Sometimes the end of one road
Brick Callahan enjoys every minute of chaos at his campground, Stardance Ranch, especially after the Tornado Alleycats arrive for an extended summer stay. The members of the all-female glamorous camping club are primarily seniors—active and adventurous, friendly and fun. But when he discovers Liliana Howe frolicking with the glamping grannies in a late night skinny-dipping session, he fears he’s in for a summer of trouble. Because his best friend’s kid sister has grown up to be drop-dead gorgeous.
. . .is the start of another
Betrayed by those she trusted, Lili decides she’s put her career first for too long. She sells her practical sedan, buys a travel trailer, and heads to Eternity Springs for a summer of rest, relaxation, and reassessment as the newest member of the Alleycats. The last person she expects to find running an RV resort is her high school crush. Their undeniable mutual attraction is a reminder that life is full of surprises. But when the past comes calling, will their summer romance stand the test of time?
Lili decides to go to Eternity Springs for the summer to get away from all that went down back at home. She joins the all female camping club called the Alleycats. Lili has spent all her life doing what others expect her to do, but now she’s had enough and she wants to do what makes her feel happy and alive. She wanted to spend a fun summer at the RV resort, but when she finds out who is running the RV resort, she’s more than surprised because it’s her high school crush Brick. Lili and Brick were teenagers back then, but now years later as adults there’s a mutual attraction. Is it now the right time for Lili and Brick to be happy and in love?
It was my first book in the series and I really enjoyed reading it. I definitely want to read more from this author in the future. I liked how that there was a glimpse to the main characters teenage time and then how things progressed in the present. It was a sweet, feel-good novel – perfect for the summer time.

…where the ingredients to happiness are found.
Connie has had enough. Enough of the city, enough of her job – and most importantly, enough of her cheating husband! So, when her best friend jets off to sunny Australia and calls on Connie to house and dog-sit, the timing couldn’t be more perfect.
When Connie arrives at the gorgeous Cotswolds getaway, she can’t resist opening the doors to the town, offering up cooking lessons – and a lot of wine! Cue the three – very different – women who respond to Connie’s cookery club advert. But it’s soon clear they will need more than a glass of wine to overcome their problems…
Can Connie conjure up the right ingredients to help her new friends? And with two gorgeous men thrown in the mix, Connie may have just ended up with a recipe for disaster!
Connie’s life isn’t going the way she would like it to go, she’s enough of her cheating husband, her mother is constantly reminding her that she’s not getting any younger and her job is very solitary. When her friend calls and offers Connie to house sit for six months, she happily agrees. Connie enjoys being in Cotswold and when she gets the idea to start a cookery club, local women are really supportive of the idea. For the start there are three other members in addition to Connie herself-village shop owner Eleanor, local vet Kate and a housewife Melody. Their lives are quite different, but cooking and the cookery club unites them. In a new place for Connie, there certainly has to be someone special to make Connie’s heart beat faster. Connie spends quite a lot of time with the young builder, but clearly it couldn’t be more than just a hot fling, but there’s this other man, who is very intriguing, a man called Max.
It’s the first book in the series and it was wonderful, it’s packed with interesting characters, delicious food and a great setting. There’s great build up for the following installments and I’m very much looking forward to learn more about the characters, especially as it ended at a very interesting part.

Always a wingman . . .
Owen McConnell is used to being ignored. After all, it’s only when he appears as the Colorado Avalanche’s team mascot that he gets all the attention. When the costume is off, women tend to gravitate toward his famous hockey player friends. But after he meets lovely, damaged Paige Adams, he knows he can be the star player for her. She’s raising funds for the hospital burn unit, and Owen’s determined to help her out—and sweep her off her feet.
The burn unit has been near and dear to Paige’s heart ever since the doctors helped her after a vicious attack. Yet the scars—both emotional and physical—haven’t faded as much as she’d hoped. She’s closed herself off from relationships, and the thought of opening up is terrifying. But Owen’s sexy charm might be just the push Paige needs to start loving again.
Owen is an ex-hockey player, who is now the team’s mascot and also the team’s promotion manager. When Owen and his friend Ben go to a local hospital to meet the woman, who is raising funds for the hospital burn unit, it’s the first time Owen and Paige meet. Paige is a victim of a vicious attack and working in a burn unit is something really close to her heart. She’s been avoiding dating since the attack, but ever since she and Owen meet there’s an attraction between them, but it takes time for Paige to open up again. Are Owen and Paige ready to leave the past behind and be happy in the present?
I absolutely adore this series, I wish it didn’t come to an end soon. Even though it’s a novella, it didn’t feel rushed to me and the romance between the main characters came quite naturally, it was packed with a great story and characters and worked all together really well. I had a great time with this book and I’d definitely recommend this series to anyone, who likes sports romances.
