Kate came home from work sooner than usually and that’s when she found her husband about to leave. It was unexpected and hurt her, but life goes on and she decides to do something her husband didn’t like-go travelling. She decides to go to Rome all by herself. Right after arriving in Rome, she meets Jamie, who’ll become a big part of her vacation and their friendship does not end in Rome. While discovering the magical Rome, Kate also meets Alessandro, who is a policeman. Kate tries to find balance between her sisters,  Jamie and Alessandro. Kate’s sisters  worry about her and they keep in touch as much as possible. Kate enjoys the company of her new friend Jamie, but her heart beats faster for Alessandro. Kate is in Rome for a short time, is their love going to survive the distance?

I really enjoyed the book, I loved the deep connection between the sisters and also the atmosphere in Rome. Kate’s stay in Rome was full of adventures and different happenings, which were so much fun to read about. As I really enjoyed this book, I can’t wait to read the second book and head back to Rome and meet the wonderful characters again.
