First comes love. Then comes family…

After a lifetime of kissing frogs, Roxie Pratt has given up on finding her own fairytale romance. That is, until she meets her very own Prince Charming, Mark Wright, and he sweeps Roxie off her feet!

So when Mark finally gets down on one knee and pops the question, there’s only one thing left to do: meet the family! And when everything has been picture-perfect so far, what could possibly go wrong…?

Roxie and Mark have been together for a year and when he proposes, Roxie is on cloud nine. Roxie could not have wished for a better man to spend her life with. The next step is meeting the in-laws which makes Roxie happy, but also anxious.  On the way to meet family Wright, Mark says that his parent’s don’t actually know about her and it’s going to be a surprise. When they arrive at Mark’s parents’ place, things don’t go very smoothly, Mark’s mom is rather cold towards Roxie and she had completely other plans for her son’s arrival. Roxie is ready to suffer though one night and then go back home, but when a sudden snowstorm locks them into the house together, things will get more and more heated. If to add Mark’s ex girlfriend and various family secrets into the mix, what will come out of it?

It was a very enjoyable book with lots of laugh out loud moments. I liked the whole story from chapter one, when Roxie and Mark met, which was one of my favorite parts along with all those funny scenes. If you want something funny and lighthearted, don’t hesitate to pick this book up.
