Escape to Paris this summer and prepare to be swept off your feet…
Anouk LaRue used to be a romantic, but since she had her heart well and truly broken her love life has dissolved into nothing more than daydreams of the perfect man. Retreating to her extraordinary Little Antique Shop has always been a way to escape, because who could feel alone in a shop bursting with memories and beautiful objects…

Until Tristan Black bursts into an auction and throws her ordered world into a spin.

Following your heart is a little like getting lost in Paris – sometimes confusing and always exciting! Except learning to trust her instincts is not something Anouk is ready to do when it comes to romance, but the city of love has other ideas…

Anouk owns a antique shop in Paris. She is a workaholic who really likes what she does. Each piece she has in the shop has a special story, so she has to choose the new owner very carefully. When she spends most of her time working, her sister is having fun by doing what she feels like at that moment. She is trying to bring Anouk back to the dating game, but after the way her last relationship ended, she is rather doubtful and careful, when it comes to men.

When the robberies at the auction houses started happening, Anouk and her fun-loving elder friend start looking into it. While they try to investigate, Anouk meets a mysterious man Tristan. He seems to be very secretive and always there, when something is going on. They go out while suspecting each other , but when feelings get involved, they both have to think what it all actually means. Who is the thief and how are Anouk and Tristan involved with it all?

I really enjoyed this story, I loved the characters, the setting and the mystery around the robberies, it was very well done, I am so glad I read the book. I love it, when  a book keeps you turning the pages, because you are so into the story. It was my second book by the author and I’ll definitely  read more, I highly recommend it.
