Single dad Andy Shaw loves his job as a sports agent, with one exception: it doesn’t leave him much time for his kids. No parent likes being sidelined, so Andy decides to hire someone to share the workload. But when one of the hottest agents in the industry applies, Andy knows that this deal is definitely trouble.

Danicka Douglas works her butt off, but being an attractive woman in a testosterone-heavy industry isn’t exactly a cakewalk. She guards her professional reputation fiercely, which means no crushing on her gorgeous boss. But the more they ignore that sexy little spark, the more it sizzles…

Just when it looks like romance might be in the game plan, Dani is threatened by a stalker with dark intentions. To keep her safe, Andy must cross the line between professional and very personal…because this time, he’s playing for keeps.

Andy is a single dad, who works so much that he doesn’t have much time for his children, but he wants to change that. He decides to hire a partner to spread the workload. He is more than happy that Danicka is applying for the spot, she is a big name in the sports world. Dani also needed a new job as soon as possible, and the timing was just perfect for her as well. Dani and Andy both know that office romance is not the best option, but everyone can feel the electricity in the air, when the two of them are in the same room. Attraction to each other is not the only thing Dani has to fight with, she is receiving threats and things get more and more serious until the truth explodes.

It was the first book I read by this author and I absolutely loved it, now I have to read the other books as well. I loved the writing style and how the story kept me turning the pages until I finished it. I enjoyed the slow burn romance and the suspense element, it was very well crafted. Any’s friends were so much fun and his children were real sweethearts. It was a really enjoyable read!
