Darcy has just moved to White Cliff Bay to get away from her parents, who are not thrilled with the decisions she makes, especially when it comes to work. They always make her feel like what she does is never enough or right. She has liked White Cliff Bay, since she visited it in her childhood and moving there to have a new start sounds wonderful. Darcy has always loved sea and as she is enjoying her swim she happens to meet the lighthouse keeper Riley, who is a reclusive American, who doesn’t seem happy that Riley has swam so close to his property. It takes them a few encounters, before they can eventually understand each other and work for the same purpose-to save the lighthouse from demolition. Riley got to know the locals quite easily, especially because everyone knew her aunt. Riley liked to keep to himself because of his past, but Darcy helps him to see that there’s still good in people.Darcy, Riley and all the locals are trying to save the lighthouse, can they make it happen?
I have only good words, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole book. It was great to meet the characters from the previous books, even though I haven’t read the second book, I was aware about the main characters. I really liked the characters, they all stuck together and the setting was just perfect-the summery small town with a magnificent lighthouse. I hope there will be another book in the series. because I can’t wait to be back to White Cliff Bay.
