For once, Auburn takes a chance and puts her heart in control, only to discover that Owen is keeping a major secret from coming out. The magnitude of his past threatens to destroy everything important to Auburn, and the only way to get her life back on track is to cut Owen out of it.

To save their relationship, all Owen needs to do is confess. But in this case, the confession could be much more destructive than the actual sin.

Auburn and Owen’s meeting was a fate, Owen needed help at his art gallery and Auburn needed work, because she had just moved to a new place. Owen is an artist, who paints the paintings based on confessions. Owen has a secret of his own and throughout the book all the problems, lies and  secrets will slowly start appear.

“There are people you meet that you get to know, and then there are people you meet that you already know.”

It is another masterpiece by Colleen Hoover. Even though I haven’t read all books she has written, I am quite sure I’ll enjoy everything she writes. Her books are so emotional, so thought provoking and simply beautiful. It’s difficult to put the book down, you just want to devour all of it, but the other part of you wants to save it to read longer and not let go of the magical world she has created.

“I’m scared I’ll never feel this again with anyone else,” I whisper.
He squeezes my hands. “I’m scared you will.”
