Sun, sea and a sexy stranger – a whole lot of fun just got a lot more complicated.
Capable, confident and career-driven, Ellen had her dream job and a marriage proposal from boyfriend Ross. Life was good, her future set. Until it wasn’t and everything fell apart…
Whisked off to the beautiful island of Corfu to plan her sister Lacey’s big, fat, Greek wedding, Ellen is hoping some time out will help clear her head and heal her heart. But letting go of her past is not going to be easy.
With Lacey in full on Bridezilla mode, Ellen is soon distracted from her own problems. And when the all-inclusive treats on offer at hotel Blue Vue include one gorgeous, brooding Adonis – Yan – Ellen finds him difficult to resist.
But Ellen isn’t looking for love or lust, or anything involving too much ouzo…or is she?
Ellen went to Corfu with her sister to arrange her sister Lacey’s wedding’s details and venue. It should have been a relaxing and fun little vacation, but things didn’t go as planned. Lacey started to doubt if she should marry at all and Ellen had to get over her past and trust her feelings for Yan. Ellen and Lacey both have time to think things through and decide what they want in life. When Lacey’s fiancee, Ellen’s ex boyfriend and the girl’s father all came to Corfu as well, things started to come together, all problems started to slowly solve and all the stress was gone. Even if the book started with attention on Lacey, it ended with the spotlight on Ellen.
It was a great summery read, the setting in Corfu was amazing. I liked how different the sisters were, but blood is thicker than water and they are ready for anything to protect each other. I can’t leave Yan without attention, he was a gem of the book-so good-hearted, caring and sweet man. I’m definitely on team Yan.
