Blurb: escape Down Under this Christmas…and find love in Summer Beach, where cold noses touch warm hearts!
Holly stopped believing in Santa Claus long ago… until a house-sitting vacation in Australia rekindles the magic of Christmas. When she rescues a litter of abandoned puppies and meets a handsome veterinarian who captures her heart, she finds herself tempted to give up everything for a chance at love.

The last thing billionaire Dr Nick Forrester expected when helping out at the animal hospital was to meet this pretty American. He knows that they belong together – but with malicious gossip and culture clash coming between them, can he convince Holly that all he wants for Christmas is her?

It’s the first book I read from the series, but as every book can be read separately I didn’t miss anything important from previous ones. It’s a fun summery read, as well as it was odd for Holly to celebrate the holidays in Australian heat, it was interesting for me to read about the Christmas in a country, where is actually summer and where are different celebrations than I am use to, but it made it more special to get to know more about Australia and its customs.

Holly is house-sitting and also keeping an eye on the cat in Australia, she flew all the way from the USA to spend the holidays in Summer Beach. When she sets herself up in the house, she quite soon finds puppies in the cardboard box and as they don’t seem to do well, she rushes to the nearest vet clinic. That one visit to the clinic changes Holly’s visit 180 degrees. She meets a handsome doctor Nick and from the first encounter, there’s something in the air.

Even though it was a little bit predictable, I still enjoyed the story a lot.
